線型腔光纖激光器線寬壓窄技術(shù)研究

【摘要】:線型腔光纖激光器以其體積小、模式穩(wěn)定、易于復(fù)用等優(yōu)點(diǎn)在光纖通信、光纖傳感器等領(lǐng)域受到廣泛關(guān)注。與環(huán)形腔結(jié)構(gòu)相比,線型腔激光器光譜寬度大,不容易達(dá)到k Hz以下,在非等臂干涉系統(tǒng)中將引入較大相位噪聲。本文針對(duì)這一背景,對(duì)壓窄線型腔激光器線寬、降低相位噪聲的方法進(jìn)行研究。從理論上分析了激光器線寬與諧振腔結(jié)構(gòu)參數(shù)的關(guān)系,揭示了線型腔激光器線寬與光柵特性、諧振腔光子壽命、腔內(nèi)損耗等多個(gè)因素內(nèi)在聯(lián)系。針對(duì)線型腔光纖激光器用切趾光柵、虛擬折疊腔和自注入式復(fù)合腔技術(shù)展開(kāi)理論和實(shí)驗(yàn)研究。論文的主要研究成果如下:1.對(duì)線型腔光纖激光器用切趾光柵進(jìn)行了理論和實(shí)驗(yàn)研究。實(shí)驗(yàn)搭建了辛格型變跡切趾光柵制作系統(tǒng),成功實(shí)現(xiàn)了切趾光纖的刻寫(xiě),實(shí)驗(yàn)獲得了反射率99.999%的超高反射率光柵。2.針對(duì)線型腔光纖激光器對(duì)兩端光柵波長(zhǎng)一致性的要求,提出了額外曝光方法,實(shí)現(xiàn)了光纖光柵波長(zhǎng)的精確控制,刻寫(xiě)波長(zhǎng)與理想波長(zhǎng)誤差控制在0.05nm以內(nèi)。3.對(duì)虛擬折疊腔光纖激光器技術(shù)進(jìn)行了研究。理論分析了虛擬折疊腔弱化空間燒孔、延長(zhǎng)光子壽命、壓縮線寬的機(jī)理;實(shí)驗(yàn)制作了虛擬折疊腔光纖激光器,解決了快慢軸相對(duì)的保偏光柵對(duì)和光纖四分之一波片兩個(gè)關(guān)鍵器件的實(shí)驗(yàn)室制作難題,制作了虛擬折疊腔光纖激光器,從實(shí)驗(yàn)上驗(yàn)證了該結(jié)構(gòu)對(duì)于抑制偏振燒孔、提高諧振腔光子壽命的效果。4.對(duì)自注入式復(fù)合腔技術(shù)進(jìn)行了研究。通過(guò)合理選擇外腔長(zhǎng)度和結(jié)構(gòu),使用1m臂差干涉儀測(cè)試相位噪聲降低10dB/Hz~(1/2),線寬實(shí)現(xiàn)壓窄。
[Abstract]:Linear cavity fiber laser is widely concerned in optical fiber communication, fiber sensor and other fields because of its small size, stable mode, easy to reuse and so on. Compared with the ring cavity structure, the spectral width of the linear cavity laser is larger than that of the ring cavity laser, and it is not easy to reach below k Hz. A large phase noise will be introduced in the non-equiarm interference system. In this paper, the method of reducing phase noise and linewidth of a narrow-line cavity laser is studied. The relationship between the linewidth of the laser and the structural parameters of the resonator is analyzed theoretically, and the internal relations between the linewidth of the linear cavity laser and the grating characteristics, the photon lifetime of the resonator and the loss in the cavity are revealed. The theoretical and experimental research on digital grating virtual folded cavity and self-injection compound cavity for linear cavity fiber laser is carried out. The main research results are as follows: 1. The theoretical and experimental study of apodized grating used in linear cavity fiber laser is carried out. An experimental system for fabricating Singer tapered apodized grating is established, and the apodized fiber is successfully written. A high reflectivity grating with a reflectivity of 99.999% is obtained. 2. According to the requirement of wavelength consistency between the two ends of the fiber laser, an extra exposure method is proposed to control the wavelength of the fiber grating accurately. The error between the writing wavelength and the ideal wavelength is controlled within 0.05nm. The technology of virtual folded cavity fiber laser is studied. The mechanism of weakening the space hole burning, prolonging the photon life and compressing the linewidth of the virtual folded cavity is analyzed theoretically. Virtual folded cavity fiber laser is fabricated experimentally, which solves the problem of laboratory fabrication of two key devices, namely, the polarization-maintaining grating pair relative to the fast and slow axis and the fiber 1/4 wave plate, and the virtual folded cavity fiber laser is fabricated. The experimental results show that the structure can restrain the polarization hole burning and improve the photon lifetime of the resonator. 4. The technique of self-injection compound cavity is studied. By selecting the length and structure of the external cavity reasonably, the phase noise is reduced by 10 dB / Hz1 / 2 by using 1m arm differential interferometer, and the line width is reduced.
