【摘要】：隨著GPU的計(jì)算能力和可編程性的不斷提高,基于CPU-GPU的異構(gòu)計(jì)算逐漸從科學(xué)界走向工業(yè)界,成為當(dāng)前的研究熱點(diǎn)。相比于同構(gòu)系統(tǒng),異構(gòu)系統(tǒng)具備更優(yōu)的性能,但同時(shí)也帶來(lái)了更大的程序設(shè)計(jì)復(fù)雜度和性能優(yōu)化難度。信號(hào)模擬器被廣泛地運(yùn)用在探測(cè)器和傳感器相關(guān)工程領(lǐng)域中輔助其系統(tǒng)設(shè)計(jì)和驗(yàn)證,其回波信號(hào)模擬算法需要處理復(fù)雜的控制邏輯和大量的數(shù)據(jù)計(jì)算,這與異構(gòu)系統(tǒng)有著較好的匹配。因此,研究信號(hào)模擬在異構(gòu)平臺(tái)上的實(shí)現(xiàn)技術(shù)具有重要的實(shí)際應(yīng)用價(jià)值。本文主要展開(kāi)了以下研究工作:1)整合了 CPU-GPU異構(gòu)平臺(tái)上的CPU端和GPU端優(yōu)化技術(shù),對(duì)整個(gè)平臺(tái)進(jìn)行了全面的性能優(yōu)化探索。同時(shí),提出了組包和分片數(shù)據(jù)傳輸、計(jì)算和通信流水化與內(nèi)核融合等新穎的優(yōu)化技術(shù),并進(jìn)行了理論分析和實(shí)驗(yàn)驗(yàn)證。2)為了進(jìn)一步驗(yàn)證各種優(yōu)化技術(shù)的效果,并完整地掌握在CPU-GPU異構(gòu)平臺(tái)上進(jìn)行程序設(shè)計(jì)的流程,本文以解決復(fù)雜電子系統(tǒng)中的回波信號(hào)模擬問(wèn)題為例,對(duì)整個(gè)系統(tǒng)進(jìn)行了相關(guān)的框架設(shè)計(jì)、編程實(shí)現(xiàn)和性能優(yōu)化。綜合測(cè)試結(jié)果顯示,本文設(shè)計(jì)的基于CPU-GPU異構(gòu)平臺(tái)的實(shí)時(shí)信號(hào)模擬器可達(dá)到5.79GB/s的處理能力,相比于同構(gòu)平臺(tái)獲得了平均21倍的加速比,且可彈性支持?jǐn)U展多GPU。
[Abstract]:With the improvement of GPU's computing power and programmability, the heterogeneous computing based on CPU-GPU has gradually moved from scientific to industrial, and has become a hot research topic. Compared with the isomorphism system, the heterogeneous system has better performance, but it also brings more complexity of program design and difficulty of performance optimization. Signal simulator is widely used in the field of detector and sensor related engineering to assist its system design and verification. Its echo signal simulation algorithm needs to deal with complex control logic and a large amount of data calculation. This has a good match with the heterogeneous system. Therefore, it has important practical application value to study the realization technology of signal simulation on heterogeneous platform. In this paper, the following research work is carried out: (1) integrating CPU and GPU optimization techniques on CPU-GPU heterogeneous platform, and exploring the overall performance optimization of the whole platform. At the same time, some new optimization techniques, such as packet and slice data transmission, computation and communication pipelining and kernel fusion, are proposed, and theoretical analysis and experimental verification. 2) in order to further verify the effectiveness of various optimization techniques, And master the program design flow on CPU-GPU heterogeneous platform completely. This paper takes solving the echo signal simulation problem in complex electronic system as an example, carries on the related frame design, the programming realization and the performance optimization to the whole system. The test results show that the real-time signal simulator based on CPU-GPU heterogeneous platform can achieve the processing capability of 5.79 GB / s. Compared with the isomorphic platform, the average speedup is 21 times, and the flexibility can support the expansion of multi-GPUs.
