基于語料庫的漢英詞“腳/foot”的認知隱轉(zhuǎn)喻比較研究

概念隱喻是認知語言學(xué)的基礎(chǔ)理論之一,是和概念轉(zhuǎn)喻一起由Lakoff和Johnson提出的。它們被認為是人類認知世界的工具之一,在我們的生活中無處不在。隱喻是基于事物相似性的跨域映射,主要功能是理解；而轉(zhuǎn)喻是基于鄰近性的域內(nèi)映射,主要功能是指稱。近年來,關(guān)于兩者關(guān)系的研究層出不窮。多數(shù)研究者認為兩者是一個連續(xù)的統(tǒng)一體,并且轉(zhuǎn)喻比隱喻更基礎(chǔ)。為了解釋兩者的互相作用,研究者提出了不同的模式。其中影響最大的是Goossens的“隱轉(zhuǎn)喻”理論。體驗主義認為人類以自我身體經(jīng)驗為基礎(chǔ)來理解周圍世界。作為人類最熟悉的部分,身體成為隱喻思維的主要來源。在我國,對身體隱喻和轉(zhuǎn)喻的研究主要包括“頭”、“臉”、“心”、“口”、“手”等。這些研究為隱喻思維的普遍性提供了證明。為了進一步揭示隱喻和轉(zhuǎn)喻的關(guān)系并且對比不同文化中隱轉(zhuǎn)喻思維的特點,本論文選取身體部位詞“腳”為研究對象,從北京大學(xué)中國語言學(xué)研究中心的現(xiàn)代漢語語料庫(CCL)和美國當(dāng)代英語語料庫(COCA)中分別取樣1000條進行跨語言對比分析,并用Goossens的“隱轉(zhuǎn)喻”理論來闡釋隱喻和轉(zhuǎn)喻的互相作用。本研究結(jié)果大致如下：第一,人類日常語言中存在大量...
