【摘要】：在19世紀(jì)歐洲知識(shí)精英的眼中,美國逐漸成熟的大眾文化對歐洲古老的高雅文化構(gòu)成了威脅。為了維護(hù)他們在傳統(tǒng)社會(huì)享有的既得利益,抵制美國大眾文化的傳播,歐洲知識(shí)精英逐漸形成了以貶抑為主要內(nèi)容的美國觀,在與歐洲的比較中虛擬出一幅美國社會(huì)或美國人的負(fù)面形象。他們的美國觀旨在通過樹立一個(gè)文化的"他者",來加強(qiáng)歐洲在整體上的凝聚力。從歷史發(fā)展來看,歐洲知識(shí)精英總是在抨擊美國文化中喚醒人們對傳統(tǒng)的眷戀和維護(hù),對美國生活方式的大加撻伐或?qū)γ绹�人文�?征服欲"的揭露,成為他們達(dá)到這一目的的主要手段。19世紀(jì)歐洲文化精英的美國觀為20世紀(jì)以來歐洲反美主義奠定了理論基礎(chǔ)。
[Abstract]:In the eyes of the European intellectual elite in the 19 th century, the maturing mass culture of the United States posed a threat to the ancient European culture of elegance. In order to safeguard their vested interests in the traditional society and resist the spread of American popular culture, the European intellectual elite gradually formed an American concept with derogatory content as its main content. In comparison with Europe, a negative image of American society or Americans is hypothesized. Their American view aims to strengthen the overall cohesion of Europe by establishing a cultural "other". From the historical development point of view, the European intellectual elite has always awakened people's attachment to and preservation of the tradition in their criticism of American culture, or criticized the American way of life or exposed the American culture's "desire to conquer". The American view, which became their main means to achieve this goal, laid a theoretical foundation for European anti-Americanism since the 20th century.
