中外理科學(xué)術(shù)論文英文摘要語步中元話語名詞比較研究

本文主要研究元話語名詞在國內(nèi)外學(xué)術(shù)期刊英文摘要各類語步中的應(yīng)用情況。Zellig Harris(1959)提出元話語(Metadiscourse)指“文本中不添加任何命題內(nèi)容的自我反思的語言材料,是關(guān)于話語的話語”(Crismore,1993;Hyland,2004)。Jiang和Hyland(2016,2017)在元話語的基礎(chǔ)上提出了元話語名詞(Metadiscursive nouns):指標(biāo)記篇章結(jié)構(gòu)并塑造讀者篇章理解的名詞資源。由于元話語名詞從屬于抽象名詞的范疇,因此這一概念除固定的含義外也包含不同語境下產(chǎn)生的語用意義(如fact,attitude,idea等),在學(xué)術(shù)論文中起著不可忽視的作用。名詞化是元話語名詞中的一個重要的分支(Yoon C.,2017),作為一種有效的銜接手段,能夠?qū)⑶懊嫫轮斜磉_(dá)形式為動詞,形容詞,從句或句子的話語壓縮成單個名詞或詞組為后面的命題提供已知信息。因此名詞化在學(xué)術(shù)論文中的作用與元話語名詞的功能有很多共同之處:既是一種銜接手段,也是一種立場表達(dá)。元話語名詞相關(guān)研究主要集中在描述性研究與實(shí)證性研究兩類。描述性研究多從元話語名詞的搭配、功能、分類等理...
