【摘要】：大學(xué)英語(yǔ)寫作語(yǔ)篇的研究多數(shù)針對(duì)應(yīng)試作文或者課后作業(yè)進(jìn)行分析,而本研究主要對(duì)英語(yǔ)專業(yè)學(xué)生畢業(yè)論文展開分析。本研究采用錯(cuò)誤分析的研究方法,對(duì)來(lái)自5所大學(xué)(或?qū)W院)的46個(gè)畢業(yè)論文的錯(cuò)誤進(jìn)行了分析。 根據(jù)本研究成果,這些畢業(yè)論文留給讀者的基本印象是:中國(guó)英語(yǔ)專業(yè)學(xué)生沒(méi)有達(dá)到應(yīng)有的英語(yǔ)水平,不能寫出高質(zhì)量的畢業(yè)論文。他們沒(méi)有具有足夠的意識(shí),對(duì)正式文體的特征把握不牢,用英語(yǔ)寫作也缺乏牢固基礎(chǔ)。英語(yǔ)專業(yè)學(xué)生畢業(yè)論文寫作問(wèn)題主要體現(xiàn)在以下方面: (1)中國(guó)英語(yǔ)專業(yè)學(xué)生對(duì)于英語(yǔ)和漢語(yǔ)的根本區(qū)別認(rèn)識(shí)不深,這為他們用英文進(jìn)行正式寫作增加了困難。 (2)語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤為最常見錯(cuò)誤。用詞不當(dāng)和語(yǔ)句構(gòu)成不合理是畢業(yè)論文寫作兩大最突出問(wèn)題。 (3)關(guān)系錯(cuò)誤(例如語(yǔ)篇指示語(yǔ)誤用)為最嚴(yán)重的語(yǔ)篇類錯(cuò)誤;畢業(yè)論文的正式語(yǔ)體沒(méi)有得到足夠重視;一些論文似乎直接翻譯自漢語(yǔ),給人留下中式英語(yǔ)的印象。 但是寫作質(zhì)量相對(duì)較高的論文有以下幾點(diǎn)共同特征:冠詞和介詞錯(cuò)誤極少;較少出現(xiàn)語(yǔ)篇和語(yǔ)體錯(cuò)誤。相反,質(zhì)量較差的論文含有語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤的比例偏高,語(yǔ)句的邏輯性偏差。 研究發(fā)現(xiàn),錯(cuò)誤的根本原因是母語(yǔ)干擾以及兩個(gè)文化的思維方式迥異;中國(guó)外語(yǔ)教學(xué)模式不適當(dāng)和學(xué)習(xí)者缺少運(yùn)用認(rèn)知策略幫助提高外語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的自主性,也是主要原因。
[Abstract]:Most of the studies in college English writing are focused on exam-oriented composition or after-school assignments, while this study focuses on the graduation thesis of English majors. In this study, error analysis was used to analyze 46 graduation papers from 5 universities (or colleges). According to the results of this study, the basic impression left by these graduation papers is that Chinese English majors do not achieve the required level of English and can not write high quality graduation papers. They are not conscious enough to grasp formal stylistic features and lack a solid foundation for writing in English. The main problems of English majors' thesis writing are as follows: (1) Chinese English majors do not have a deep understanding of the fundamental differences between English and Chinese. This makes it more difficult for them to write formally in English. (2) grammatical errors are the most common mistakes. Improper use of words and unreasonable construction of sentences are the two most prominent problems in the writing of graduation thesis. (3) errors in relation (such as the misuse of discourse deixis) are the most serious type errors in discourse, and the formal style of graduation thesis has not been paid enough attention to; Some papers seem to be translated directly from Chinese, leaving the impression of Chinglish. However, the relatively high writing quality of the thesis has the following common features: articles and preposition errors are few, and discourse and stylistic errors are less common. On the contrary, poor quality papers contain high percentage of grammatical errors and logical deviation of sentences. It is found that the root causes of the errors are the interference of mother tongue and the different modes of thinking between the two cultures, and the inappropriate foreign language teaching mode in China and the lack of cognitive strategies used by learners to help improve their autonomy in foreign language learning are also the main reasons.
