【摘要】：現(xiàn)代認(rèn)知語言學(xué)認(rèn)為,人類的思維與行為的概念系統(tǒng)根本上是隱喻性的。隱喻不僅僅是一種具有修辭作用的表達(dá)方式,同時(shí)也包含了一種基本的認(rèn)知方式。概念合成理論揭示了語言的意義建構(gòu)過程,可以模擬心理空間認(rèn)知狀態(tài)的轉(zhuǎn)換,描述概念隱喻意義構(gòu)建和推理機(jī)制復(fù)雜的思維過程。本論文主要運(yùn)用文本分析法、比較法和圖表法等多種研究方法,嘗試根據(jù)概念隱喻理論,將《活著》英譯本中的隱喻分類,以概念合成理論為基礎(chǔ),分析英譯本中隱喻的翻譯,并總結(jié)出隱喻的翻譯原則。本文研究發(fā)現(xiàn),概念合成理論對研究隱喻合成過程有很強(qiáng)的解釋力。《活著》英譯本中概念隱喻的翻譯可以分為兩種情況:其一,源語文本中的概念映射與目的語文本中的概念映射相同,稱為"概念映射一致";其二,源語文本中的概念映射與目的語文本中的概念映射不同,稱為"概念映射調(diào)整"。此外,本研究總結(jié)出了隱喻的翻譯原則:若源文本中概念映射的類屬空間與譯文本中概念映射的類屬空間一致(或相似),要進(jìn)行概念映射一致的隱喻翻譯;相反,若二者的類屬空間不同(或差異較大),則要進(jìn)行概念映射調(diào)整的隱喻翻譯。
[Abstract]:Modern cognitive linguistics holds that the conceptual system of human thinking and behavior is fundamentally metaphorical. Metaphor is not merely a rhetorical expression. Conceptual synthesis theory reveals the process of meaning construction of language, which can simulate the transition of cognitive state in psychological space. This thesis mainly uses text analysis, comparative method and chart method to classify the metaphors in the English translation of living according to the theory of conceptual metaphor. Based on the theory of conceptual synthesis, this paper analyzes the translation of metaphors in English versions and summarizes the translation principles of metaphors. Conceptual synthesis theory has a strong explanatory power to study the process of metaphor synthesis. The translation of conceptual metaphor in English translation can be divided into two situations: first, the conceptual mapping in the source language is the same as the conceptual mapping in the target language. It is called "Conceptual Mapping coherence"; second, the conceptual mapping in the source language text is different from that in the target language text, and it is called "Conceptual Mapping Adjustment". The present study summarizes the translation principles of metaphor: if the generic space of conceptual mapping in the source text is consistent with the generic space of the conceptual mapping in the translated text (or similar to the generic space of the conceptual mapping in the source text), the metaphorical translation of the conceptual mapping should be consistent; on the contrary, If the generic space of the two is different (or quite different), the metaphorical translation with conceptual mapping adjustment should be carried out.
