【摘要】：本文是一篇翻譯實踐報告,翻譯實踐材料源自美國博物館職業(yè)發(fā)展副主任格雷戈·史蒂文斯和人力資源部經理溫迪·盧克合編的A Life in Museums:Managing Your Museum Career一書,中文名為《博物館生涯:管理您的博物館人生》。筆者承擔了書中第9—12章節(jié)的翻譯工作,主要闡述了博物館工作的申請流程,作者通過自己的工作經歷介紹了小型博物館的工作,敘述了如何準備面試,如何對待實習的內容,語言簡單平實,通俗易懂。本報告共分為四個部分。第一部分是項目介紹,著重介紹了委托方及其所提的翻譯要求、翻譯材料、翻譯任務的特點及翻譯實踐意義。第二部分是翻譯過程描述,包括譯前準備、翻譯過程和譯后校對三個方面。第三部分是案例分析,針對譯文中出現(xiàn)的錯誤進行梳理,運用功能對等的理論從詞匯、句法、語篇及文體層面入手,選擇恰當?shù)姆�譯策略和技巧修復譯文,改正錯誤,確保譯文文本質量。第四部分是翻譯實踐總結,主要闡述了筆者對應用型文本翻譯的認識以及對自身翻譯素養(yǎng)的深刻反思。
[Abstract]:This is a translation practice report based on a book by Greg Stevens, Deputy Director of career Development, American Museum, and Wendy Lu Ke, Human Resources Manager, who co-authored A Life in Museums Managing your Museum career. The Chinese name is "Museum Life: managing your Museum Life." The author is responsible for the translation of chapters 9-12 of the book, mainly expounds the application process of the museum work, the author introduces the work of the small museum through his own work experience, and describes how to prepare for the interview. How to treat the content of practice, the language is simple and plain, easy to understand. The report is divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction of the project, focusing on the client and his translation requirements, translation materials, the characteristics of translation tasks and translation practical significance. The second part is the description of translation process, including three aspects: pre-translation preparation, translation process and post-translation proofreading. The third part is a case study, which combs the errors in the target text and uses the theory of functional equivalence to correct the mistakes by choosing the appropriate translation strategies and techniques from the lexical, syntactic, textual and stylistic levels. Ensure the quality of the translated text. The fourth part is a summary of translation practice, which mainly expounds the author's understanding of applied text translation and his own translation literacy.
