　　“體”是英語動詞的特征之一,是用來表示動作或過程在一定時間內(nèi)處于何種狀態(tài)的動詞形式,分為完成體和進行體。英語進行體表示動作的進行,是英語語法的中心部分或核心語法范疇,吸引了國內(nèi)外大量學者對此結(jié)構(gòu)進行研究。國內(nèi)外學者分別從傳統(tǒng)語法視角、轉(zhuǎn)換生成語法視角、功能語法視角、認知語言學視角對英語進行體的基本特征進行了較為細致的研究。但是,很少學者對英語現(xiàn)在進行體結(jié)構(gòu)的認知機制問題做出解釋。因此,本文嘗試從認知語法視角對英語現(xiàn)在進行體的認知機制問題進行研究。在Langacker的認知語法理論下,本文提出了動詞的劃界與解界、側(cè)顯、小句入場為英語現(xiàn)在進行體的認知機制。本文運用認知語法中的劃界與解界理論和入場理論,旨在解決以下問題:持續(xù)動詞與非持續(xù)動詞的劃分機制是什么?非過程性和過程性是怎樣轉(zhuǎn)換的?動詞所突顯的某一過程又是怎樣進入英語現(xiàn)在進行體的?研究得出以下三結(jié)論:第一,動詞分為持續(xù)動詞和非持續(xù)動詞,這兩類動詞的劃分認知機制是根據(jù)劃界理論并類比可數(shù)名詞與物質(zhì)名詞的劃分而區(qū)分的,只有非持續(xù)類動詞才可以用于現(xiàn)在進行體。第二,動詞側(cè)顯一個復(fù)雜關(guān)系,在這一過程中“-ing”形式采取內(nèi)部視角識解此刻的動作,從而...
