【摘要】：本報(bào)告的翻譯對(duì)象節(jié)選自《波利先生傳》前三章�！恫ɡ�先生傳》是英國(guó)著名小說家赫伯特·喬治·威爾斯(1866-1946)的代表作。該作品語言具有以下特點(diǎn):第一,語言個(gè)性化強(qiáng)烈,文字簡(jiǎn)潔干練;第二,語言幽默,又暗含諷刺;第三,語言形象滑稽,同時(shí)引人入勝;第四,語言夸張戲謔,運(yùn)用悲劇喜寫。本報(bào)告從研究對(duì)象、相關(guān)研究背景和意義導(dǎo)入,進(jìn)行案例分析,其中包括對(duì)源文本的分析,翻譯準(zhǔn)備以及翻譯過程概述,然后分別從詞匯、句法兩個(gè)角度論述筆者在翻譯中所遇到的問題,如文化負(fù)載詞翻譯,對(duì)話語句翻譯等。隨后基于功能對(duì)等理論,重點(diǎn)探討了針對(duì)以上兩個(gè)層次問題,處理該文本所需要的翻譯策略,包括詞性轉(zhuǎn)換法、增譯法、切分法、句子重組法等,最后筆者對(duì)此次翻譯進(jìn)行總結(jié),以期為以后翻譯工作提供相應(yīng)經(jīng)驗(yàn)與教訓(xùn)。
[Abstract]:The subjects of this report are excerpted from the first three chapters of the Biography of Mr. Polly, the masterpiece of Herbert George Wellesley, a famous British novelist.The language of the work has the following characteristics: first, the language is highly individualized, the text is concise and able; second, the language is humorous, but also implied irony; third, the language image is funny at the same time; and fourth, the language is exaggerated and playful.Use tragedy to write.This report is introduced from the study subjects, relevant research background and significance, case analysis, including the analysis of the source text, translation preparation and translation process overview, and then from the vocabulary,From two syntactic perspectives, the author discusses the problems encountered in translation, such as culture-loaded words translation, conversational sentence translation and so on.Then, based on the functional equivalence theory, this paper focuses on the translation strategies needed to deal with the above two levels of problems, including part-of-speech conversion, incremental translation, segmentation, sentence recombination and so on.Finally, the author summarizes the translation in order to provide relevant experience and lessons for future translation.
