紐馬克交際翻譯理論指導(dǎo)下的《明天的面包》(節(jié)選)翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告

本文是一篇有關(guān)小說(shuō)題材的翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告。本次翻譯實(shí)踐選用美國(guó)作家安娜·簡(jiǎn)·梅休的小說(shuō)《明天的面包》作為源文本!睹魈斓拿姘沸≌f(shuō)以作者梅休在美國(guó)南方種族隔離環(huán)境下長(zhǎng)大的生動(dòng)記憶為視角,講述著在20世紀(jì)60年代的夏洛特市布魯克林社區(qū),美國(guó)打著“城市重建”的幌子,破壞黑人社區(qū)以及來(lái)之不易的種族進(jìn)步的故事。筆者節(jié)選了該書(shū)的前五章內(nèi)容進(jìn)行翻譯,并據(jù)此撰寫(xiě)了本篇翻譯報(bào)告。任何翻譯實(shí)踐都離不開(kāi)理論的指導(dǎo),小說(shuō)的翻譯實(shí)踐更是如此!睹魈斓拿姘肥且徊客ㄋ仔≌f(shuō),該類型的小說(shuō)是以更具生活化的語(yǔ)言向讀者傳達(dá)作者的寫(xiě)作意圖。為了使翻譯效果能夠滿足最廣泛讀者的需要,在本次翻譯實(shí)踐中,筆者選擇了紐馬克的交際翻譯理論作為指導(dǎo),并選用了相應(yīng)的翻譯策略和方法,對(duì)該小說(shuō)進(jìn)行了翻譯。為提高本次翻譯實(shí)踐的質(zhì)量,筆者除了運(yùn)用紐馬克的交際翻譯理論作為指導(dǎo)之外,還考慮了以下方面。第一,在譯前的準(zhǔn)備階段,筆者查閱了相關(guān)資料,了解該小說(shuō)的創(chuàng)作背景,作者的寫(xiě)作風(fēng)格和相關(guān)經(jīng)歷。第二,筆者在翻譯的過(guò)程中對(duì)一些存在中西方文化差異的詞匯和結(jié)構(gòu)復(fù)雜的句子進(jìn)行反復(fù)的斟酌,以找出英文中暗含的邏輯性,確保譯文的準(zhǔn)確性和流暢性。第三,筆者在譯后的校對(duì)過(guò)程中...
