生態(tài)批評視閾下莎士比亞的《暴風雨》

生態(tài)批評在人類面臨環(huán)境惡化和生態(tài)危機的語境中應(yīng)運而生。作為一種文學和文化批評,生態(tài)批評從深層生態(tài)學獲得哲學基礎(chǔ),從社會生態(tài)學獲得科學支撐,在人與自然關(guān)系這一主題的文學研究實踐中,尋求消除人類中心主義、建構(gòu)以天人合一為基礎(chǔ)的新的人文主義精神。作為一部具有生態(tài)意識的文本,《暴風雨》中蘊含著莎士比亞對人與自然關(guān)系的探索,反映著人類自啟蒙運動來所缺失的人與自然和諧相處的思考方式。 論文由引言、正文和結(jié)論三部分組成。引言部分包括:一、從歷時的角度介紹文學批評上對《暴風雨》的研究狀況;二、對生態(tài)批評進行全景白描式的介紹,涵蓋其歷史淵源、其與該亞假說(Gaia Hypothesis)的原型指涉以及其與深層生態(tài)學(Deep Ecology)的哲學關(guān)聯(lián);三、闡述《暴風雨》與生態(tài)批評在理論與實踐上的內(nèi)在聯(lián)系。正文第一章論證了《暴風雨》中的孤島像該亞假說中的雛菊世界(Daisyworld)一樣,通過自我調(diào)節(jié)(self-regulation)維持著良好的生態(tài)平衡。然而,以普洛斯彼羅為代表的人類在島上的一系列砍伐樹木、恃強凌弱等行為破壞了島上原有的和諧并最終引發(fā)了生態(tài)危機。第二章集中探究了島上生態(tài)危機產(chǎn)生的...
