　　隱喻研究一直是全世界語(yǔ)言學(xué)家關(guān)注的焦點(diǎn)。近幾十年來(lái),隱喻的相關(guān)研究取得了巨大的進(jìn)步。當(dāng)代認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)家認(rèn)為,隱喻不僅是一種修辭手段,而且是一種思維方式和認(rèn)知手段。隱喻普遍存在于我們的日常生活之中,存在于我們的思維和語(yǔ)言之中。我們賴以思考和行動(dòng)的概念體系從根本上說(shuō)也存在隱喻。因此,政治語(yǔ)言從本質(zhì)上來(lái)說(shuō)也是存在隱喻的。 從亞里士多德開(kāi)始,人們已經(jīng)對(duì)隱喻進(jìn)行了多方面的理論研究。亞里士多德的兩本聞名于世的著作《修辭學(xué)》和《詩(shī)學(xué)》標(biāo)志著對(duì)隱喻的系統(tǒng)性研究的開(kāi)始。在這兩部著作中,亞里士多德這樣描寫道：“隱喻是引領(lǐng)我們學(xué)習(xí)的優(yōu)美詞匯”,“掌握隱喻是天才的象征”(Aristotle,1954:22)。然而,亞里士多德只是將隱喻界定為一種起到美化語(yǔ)言作用的修辭格,而低估了隱喻的其他意義。二十世紀(jì)三十年代,伴隨著《修辭哲學(xué)》的出版,作為認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)先驅(qū)的Richard強(qiáng)調(diào)“思想的隱喻性”,并稱“離開(kāi)隱喻,我們甚至無(wú)法理解普通語(yǔ)篇里的三個(gè)句子”(Richard,1936:94)。而Lakoff和Johnson將隱喻研究推向了更高峰。伴隨著《我們賴以生存的隱喻》的發(fā)表,隱喻研究翻開(kāi)了新的篇章,實(shí)現(xiàn)了從修辭作用的...
