【摘要】：艾倫秀作為國外的一檔日間脫口秀,收視率位居榜首。在脫口秀中元話語指的是說話者用來組織言語,暗示說話意圖而使用的不同種類的標記語。海蘭德(2005a)認為所有的元話語都有人際功能,因此在之前研究的基礎上他將元話語重新分為引導元話語和互動元話語兩類。本研究采用就是海蘭德(2005a)的分類標準。雖然元話語已經引起國內外不同領域的語言學家的興趣,但是大部分研究是從社會交流,功能,認知以及修辭和教學實踐的角度去分析,很少有人結合短語理論去分析。辛克萊(2004)說過,文章的意思要以短語的形式表達。因此本文將從短語理論這個角度去分析脫口秀話語中元話語的人際功能。研究問題如下:(1)元話語在艾倫脫口秀中的頻率分布情況如何?(2)元話語在艾倫脫口秀中的典型的短語形式是什么?(3)元話語是如何實現(xiàn)其在艾倫秀中的人際功能的?它們共現(xiàn)的短語形式是什么?本文收集了2016年1月至11月期間艾倫脫口秀節(jié)目中的189篇不同話題的語音轉寫文本,然后建立了語料庫。結合短語理論分析了元話語的使用頻率、分布和典型的短語形式,從而了解元話語在艾倫脫口秀中是如何實現(xiàn)它的人際功能的。研究結果發(fā)現(xiàn):(1)語料庫使用的元話語形式共計203個,其中互動元話語比引導元話語使用的頻率要高。使用頻率最高的為立場標記語,頻率最低的為證據(jù)標注語,語內標記語和個人留白沒有出現(xiàn)。(2)高頻元話語短語有47組,包含了不同類型的元話語分類,如介入標記語you+verb、轉換標記語and+pronoun/adverb、自我提及語I+verb/I+conjunctions等。(3)元話語的人際功能體現(xiàn)在其對說話者態(tài)度的影響程度方面,例如證據(jù)標記語、框架標記語可以增強語篇的說服力;轉換標記語、自我提及語則被作者用來進行假設、建立并完善作者一讀者關系,進而實現(xiàn)人際功能等等。這些功能的實現(xiàn)往往以短語形式出現(xiàn)才能體現(xiàn)。在第三個研究問題中,每一種元話語的人際功能被分析,而且對應使用的短語形式也得到了詳細的分析來展現(xiàn)語料中最常用的短語形式是如何實現(xiàn)人際功能的。以上研究在理論上為元話語的意義、形式與人際功能的實現(xiàn)進行了一定的探索和總結。在實踐方面,對英語寫作的謀篇布局、論點闡述層面也提供一定的借鑒。
[Abstract]:Allen Show as a foreign daytime talk show, ratings topped the list. In a talk show, meta-discourse refers to different kinds of markers used by the speaker to organize the speech and imply the intention of the speech. Hailander 2005a) holds that all meta-utterances have interpersonal functions, so he reclassifies meta-discourse into two categories: guided meta-discourse and interactive meta-discourse on the basis of previous studies. This study is based on the classification criteria of Hylande (2005a). Although meta discourse has attracted the interest of linguists in different fields at home and abroad, most of the studies are based on social communication, function, cognition, rhetoric and teaching practice. Sinclair 2004 said that the meaning of the article should be expressed in the form of a phrase. Therefore, this paper will analyze the interpersonal function of meta-discourse in talk show from the perspective of phrase theory. What is the typical phrase form of meta-discourse in Allen's talk show? how does meta-discourse achieve its interpersonal function in Allen's show? What is the phrase form of their co-occurrence? This paper collects 189 speech transliterations of different topics from January to November 2016, and then establishes a corpus. Based on phrase theory, this paper analyzes the frequency, distribution and typical phrase form of meta utterance in order to understand how meta discourse achieves its interpersonal function in Allen's talk show. The results show that the corpus uses 203 metaphoric forms, in which interactive meta-discourse is more frequently used than guided meta-discourse. The highest frequency was used as position marker, and the lowest in evidence tagging. There were 47 groups of high-frequency meta-discourse phrases, which included different types of meta-discourse classification. For example, the interpersonal function of the interventional marker you verbation, the transformation marker and pronount / adverb, the self-reference word verbi conjunctions, etc.) the interpersonal function of the meta discourse is reflected in its influence on the speaker's attitude, such as evidence marker, frame marker can enhance the persuasive power of the text; Transformation markers and self-references are used by the author to make hypotheses, to establish and perfect the author-reader relationship, and to realize interpersonal functions, etc. These functions are often realized in the form of phrases. In the third question, the interpersonal function of each meta utterance is analyzed, and the phrase forms that should be used are analyzed in detail to show how the most commonly used phrasal forms in the corpus can achieve interpersonal function. The above research is theoretically the meaning of meta-discourse, the realization of form and interpersonal function. In practice, it also provides some references to the layout of English writing and the elaboration of arguments.
