【摘要】：不同于普通英語新聞標(biāo)題,海事英語新聞標(biāo)題在語言上具有特殊性。因此了解海事英語新聞標(biāo)題的句法特征可以幫助讀者提高閱讀效率。本文通過自建語料庫,結(jié)合夸克等語言學(xué)家關(guān)于句法分析的理論,從新聞標(biāo)題的句長,句子結(jié)構(gòu),時態(tài),語態(tài),省略五個方面總結(jié)海事英語新聞標(biāo)題的句法特點。結(jié)果發(fā)現(xiàn):1.在句長方面,海事英語新聞標(biāo)題的平均句長要小于普通英語新聞標(biāo)題,海事英語新聞標(biāo)題以7-9個單詞的句子最為普遍;2.在句子結(jié)構(gòu)方面,簡單句在海事英語新聞標(biāo)題的使用頻率高于普通英語新聞標(biāo)題;其中在簡單句的七種句子結(jié)構(gòu)當(dāng)中,海事英語新聞標(biāo)題使用頻率最高的前三種結(jié)構(gòu)分別是SVO,SVOA,SV;而普通英語新聞標(biāo)題使用頻率最高的前三種結(jié)構(gòu)分別是SVOA,SVO and SVA.復(fù)雜句在海事英語新聞標(biāo)題的使用頻率明顯低于普通英語新聞標(biāo)題。3.在時態(tài)方面,一般現(xiàn)在時使用頻率最高;一般將來時多使用不定式代替"be to do"的形式,含有"Will"的一般將來時在海事英語新聞標(biāo)題中使用頻率較少。4,在語態(tài)方面,主動語態(tài)使用頻率遠高于被動語態(tài)。5.在省略方面,海事英語新聞標(biāo)題和普通英語新聞標(biāo)題一樣,"BE"動詞的省略最常見。本文拓寬了英語新聞標(biāo)題的研究范圍,其研究發(fā)現(xiàn)將對航運相關(guān)工作者有一定的啟示。
[Abstract]:Unlike the general English news headlines, the title of the maritime English news has special characteristics in the language. Therefore, it is clear that the syntactic features of the maritime English news headlines can help the reader to improve the reading efficiency. This paper summarizes the syntactic features of the maritime English news headlines by self-building a corpus, combining with the theories of the quark and other linguists on the syntactic analysis, from the length of the news headlines, the sentence structure, the tense, the language state and the omission of the five aspects. The result was found:1. In terms of the length of the sentence, the average sentence of the maritime English news headlines is less than that of the ordinary English news headlines, and the title of the maritime English news is the most common in the 7-9 words. In the sentence structure, the use frequency of the simple sentence in the maritime English news headlines is higher than that of the ordinary English news headlines; among the seven sentence structures of the simple sentence, the first three structures with the highest frequency of the maritime English news headlines are SVO, SVA and SV; The first three structures with the highest frequency of common English news headlines are SVA, SVO and SVA, respectively. The frequency of the use of complex sentences in the maritime English news headlines is significantly lower than that of the general English news headlines. In the temporal aspect, the frequency is the highest; in the future, the infinitive is used instead of the "be to do", and the general future of the "Will" contains less frequency in the title of the maritime English news.4. In terms of the state of the speech, the active language use frequency is much higher than the passive voice. In that omit aspect, as in the general English news title and the general English news title, the omission of the "BE" verb is the most common. This paper broadens the scope of the study of English news headlines, and its research finds that it will give some inspiration to the shipping-related workers.
