　　本論文以文章翻譯學(xué)為理論基礎(chǔ),對金庸武俠小說《射雕英雄傳》英譯本中武俠精神的翻譯與傳播情況進(jìn)行了深入研究。首先,根據(jù)小說中諸要素對武俠精神的體現(xiàn)情況進(jìn)行分類。其中,小說中的人物動作、武打場面和人物的名號與門派直接體現(xiàn)了武俠精神;人物的對話、基本情況和生活場景間接體現(xiàn)了武俠精神。其次,分析了譯者所采用的翻譯策略。譯者使用詞類轉(zhuǎn)換和詞語增刪等方法翻譯人物動作,用文內(nèi)解釋和附錄加注等方法翻譯人物名號與門派,用直接對應(yīng)的方法翻譯武打場面和生活場景等。再次,從“譯文三合‘義’‘體’‘氣’”視角探討了小說譯本在內(nèi)容傳達(dá)、文體對應(yīng)和思想再現(xiàn)等三個方面的問題。最后,通過分析英語世界讀者對小說譯本的評價,得出小說譯本在英語世界得到了一定程度的傳播,但傳播力度仍需加強(qiáng),傳播手段要與時俱進(jìn)。研究表明,《射雕英雄傳》英譯本中武俠精神的翻譯與傳播情況總體較好,但也存在不足。本論文認(rèn)為,武俠小說譯者在翻譯前應(yīng)對原文作者的基本情況和所處時代背景做充分了解;翻譯過程中,要把武俠小說翻譯當(dāng)做傳播中國文化的重要途徑,做到“美文美譯”;譯作完成后,選擇合適的出版社有助于傳播譯作,進(jìn)而有助于傳播中國文化。
