　　自1936年出版以來(lái),瑪格麗特·米切爾的傳世之作——《飄》一直被許多讀者認(rèn)為是最喜愛(ài)的長(zhǎng)篇小說(shuō),并受到公眾的肯定與贊譽(yù)。該書(shū)的成功在于其跌宕起伏的情節(jié)以及成功塑造了斯佳麗這一鮮活生動(dòng)的人物形象。小說(shuō)敘述了斯佳麗的成長(zhǎng)過(guò)程。而這個(gè)過(guò)程也是其形成女性意識(shí)的過(guò)程。斯佳麗從一個(gè)懵懂少女逐漸成長(zhǎng)為一位成熟,獨(dú)立的女性。其成長(zhǎng)軌跡從一個(gè)側(cè)面反映了婦女尋求獨(dú)立和解放的過(guò)程。西蒙娜·德·波伏娃在其論著《第二性》中提到：女人并不天生是女人,而是變成女人的。女人被看做是附屬的人,是同主要者(the essential)相對(duì)立的次要者(the inessential)。男人是主體(the subject),是絕對(duì)(the Absolute),而女人則是他者(the Other)。而婦女尋求獨(dú)立和解放的道路是充滿(mǎn)艱辛的。只要女性氣質(zhì)照這樣一直存在,男女間的不和就會(huì)繼續(xù)下去。男性將不會(huì)平等地對(duì)待女性,反之亦然。 本文根據(jù)西蒙娜·德·波伏娃的女性主義理論,通過(guò)對(duì)《飄》的主人翁斯佳麗成長(zhǎng)過(guò)程的分析,從女性主義的視角探討女性尋求獨(dú)立和解放的問(wèn)題�，F(xiàn)實(shí)社會(huì)中有許多同斯佳麗一樣,不甘于“他者”身份,追求獨(dú)立和解放的女性...
